I'm a platform engineer who's spent 16 years moving from frontend development to building internal developer tools and infrastructure. My ideal role lets me build things that make other engineers' work better, whether that's hands-on architecture, technical leadership, or team management. My ideal company is mid- to large-sized, genuinely values platform engineering and developer experience, and has a collaborative culture where good ideas can come from anywhere.

In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
I want to build things that make other people's work better — whether that's shipping a product feature or building the platform underneath it. I've spent my career moving toward developer tooling because I love solving problems that help a whole team, not just one user, and I'm comfortable as a hands-on architect, a technical lead, or a manager running a team of engineers. What matters more to me than the title is working closely with the people who use what I build, and having room to mentor the folks around me.
How would you describe your professional background?
I began my career as a frontend developer, working on client-facing applications, before moving into solutions architecture and taking on responsibility for leading a team of engineers as I handled larger and more complex projects. Gradually, I became more interested in solving the underlying problems developers have — such as the tools, workflows, and infrastructure that make it easier for other engineers to carry out their work — and this interest eventually led me to make it my full-time focus: building an internal developer platform from scratch, comprising golden-path tooling and AI-assisted developer workflows.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
My ideal next company is mid- to large-sized, somewhere that genuinely values platform engineering and developer experience rather than treating it as an afterthought. I'm drawn to companies that see technology as core to how they operate, not just a support function. I also value a collaborative culture where good ideas can come from anywhere.
