How would you describe your ideal next role?
A hands-on UI/UX principal/architect or front-end engineering lead role centered on designing and building the interface layer for exceptional products. I want to stay close to the code in TypeScript, React, and Next.js while setting front-end architecture and design system direction, working day to day with designers, product managers, and platform teams. Responsibilities would include taking concepts from design to production quickly, defining component, accessibility, and performance standards, and leading engineers as the team scales.
How would you describe your professional background?
I started as a software engineering intern in 2013 and spent a decade at one company growing from Software Engineer I to Software Development Manager. Along the way I built and governed a React/TypeScript design system and a single-spa micro-frontend platform adopted by 20+ engineering teams supporting 350+ products across 10 countries, and I kept gravitating back to the interface layer - translating Figma designs into production React, setting accessibility (WCAG) and front-end performance standards, and demoing strategic work to executives and investors. In 2025 I made a deliberate move toward AI: leading an engineering team at a security software company, founding my own studio to ship AI-first products from zero to one, and now building agentic and LLM-powered features full time. My focus today is making emerging agentic patterns land as intuitive, trustworthy product experiences.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
A product-led company where AI is core to what is being built rather than bolted on, and where I can own the interface layer of agentic products end to end. Size-wise I lean startup through mid-market - roughly 20 to 500 people - big enough to have real users and real problems, small enough that design and engineering decisions still move fast. Culture matters most to me: high trust, low ceremony, a strong craft bar, and leaders who still ship. Industry is flexible.
