I'm an operations and program leader with 20 years across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and contract manufacturing plus the experience of running my own business end-to-end. I'm looking for a COO role where I can drive both operational excellence and new business growth. My ideal company is a hands-on, entrepreneurial manufacturer in the $10M–$100M range, at a turning point where an operator-owner mindset makes the difference.

In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
The role I'm targeting is Chief Operating Officer at a small-to-mid-size manufacturing or contract manufacturing company (roughly $10M–$100M revenue), ideally one that's outgrown founder-led management or is preparing for growth, a succession transition, or post-acquisition integration. I'd be working on operational strategy and execution. Streamlining production and supply chain, building out quality systems, improving margins, and putting scalable processes in place across the business. While also contributing to business development given my background there. I'd be working closely with the CEO or owner as a true operating partner, along with plant/production leadership, quality, supply chain, and sales teams, translating company strategy into day-to-day execution. Day to day, responsibilities would include overseeing manufacturing operations, quality and compliance, vendor and contract manufacturing relationships, process improvement, and cross-functional team leadership — essentially owning the "how" of the business so the CEO can focus on the "what's next."
How would you describe your professional background?
I started as a Manufacturing Engineer in industrial manufacturing, building hands-on experience in precision machining and process improvement, then moved into pharma/medical device manufacturing as a Design Engineer and Quality Engineer, and later into medical device consulting, where I supported product development and design for manufacturing. From there I moved into program and project leadership at a global industrial OEM and a pharma/biomedical contract manufacturer (CDMO), eventually leading cross-functional teams on multi-million dollar capital projects and progressing into senior program management. In 2023, I also started my own business, running every function — sourcing, production, quality, and sales — myself. Twenty years spent moving from engineering into quality into program leadership, combined with actually owning a business end-to-end, is what's now pulling me toward a COO role.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
My ideal next employer is a small-to-mid-size manufacturing or contract manufacturing company, roughly $10M–$100M in revenue, that's reached an inflection point or outgrowing founder-led management, going through a leadership succession, or scaling after private equity investment and needs an operator who can own both operations and growth. I'm drawn to companies with a hands-on, entrepreneurial culture where leadership works closely together and decisions move quickly, rather than large, heavily layered organizations where I'd be several steps removed from the work. Industry-wise, I'd thrive in medical device, pharma/biomedical, or industrial manufacturing given my background, though I'm equally interested in any manufacturing environment where quality, process discipline, and customer relationships all matter since that combination is where I've built my career and where my own business ownership experience directly applies.
