How would you describe your ideal next role?
My ideal role is a hybrid or in-person position as an entry-level full stack software engineer. My tech stack would be C#/.NET and whatever database suits the project best. I would work in a collaborative team setting with other devs who enjoy teaching and learning as the group strives to make everyone better.
How would you describe your professional background?
I just graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s in computer science and a minor in cognitive science. I was able to complete my full four year degree in 3 years while maintaining a 3.92 gpa and serving on leadership teams for two sports teams and one student group. As I finished my degree, I worked in the research space, building research tools and running focus groups. I also worked in the corporate space building an internal tool for a $5.6B company. These experiences showed me how important human communication and collaboration is during the development process. They also taught me that my favorite language and framework to work in is C#/.NET.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
I’d be thrilled to join a medium sized company that values their people. Whether that be helping to develop skills and furthering education, or just emphasizing the importance of teamwork. A strong company culture is important to me.
