In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
In my next role I would be on a collaborative team that prioritizes clear communication, celebrates our wins, and is pragmatic about how we can best reach our goals together. In my role I would be primarily focused on making individual contributions, planning features with product and design, and ensuring my team has what they need to succeed.
How would you describe your professional background?
I became a software engineer because I wanted to build tools that will help people and get out of their way. The technology isn’t the point, the people and their problems are. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with clients and product teams, startups and Fortune 500s. Most recently I’ve been on a product team for a startup in San Francisco, exploring bleeding edge technologies, leading projects, and growing the team. After almost three years, I’m excited to bring my focus and skills back to the Minneapolis tech community.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
Mid-sized company trying to solve hard problems. Prioritizes inclusivity and work-life balance, remote work fully supported but hybrid optional. Flexible on specific industries, but would be especially thrilled working in healthcare, agriculture, or anything nature or art adjacent.
