In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
My ideal next role is an entry-level software engineering position where I can contribute to backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and databases. I would like to work with experienced engineers who value the fundamentals of engineering, code quality, and mentorship while giving me increasing ownership over production systems. I am interested in learning how reliable and scalable services are designed, deployed, maintained, and operated in practice.
How would you describe your professional background?
I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Macalester College with software engineering experience across backend development, APIs, cloud services, and applied machine learning. Through my internship at a startup, coursework, and personal projects, I've worked with technologies like Python, FastAPI, SQL, AWS, Docker, and relational databases. I'm currently seeking my first full-time software engineering role, with an interest in backend, cloud, and distributed systems engineering.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
I would love to join a company that values collaboration and has an engineering culture where early-career engineers can learn from experienced teammates while taking meaningful ownership of real projects. I’m drawn to teams building backend services, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or large-scale data systems. I’m open to companies of different sizes and industries where I can grow as an engineer.
Anything else to add?
I'm open to relocation for opportunities.
