How would you describe your ideal next role?
I’m looking for a software engineering role where I can build and improve real-world software while continuing to grow my technical skills. I’d like to work alongside experienced engineers on challenging projects involving areas such as systems, backend development, or full-stack applications, with responsibilities including designing, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting software. I’m especially interested in a collaborative environment where I can take ownership of meaningful projects while learning from the team around me.
How would you describe your professional background?
My professional background began with a strong interest in problem-solving and technology, which led me to pursue a degree in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. Through coursework, personal projects, and my experience as a Test Technician Intern at Medtronic, I’ve developed experience with C++, Python, JavaScript, software development, and testing. These experiences have motivated me to pursue a career in software engineering where I can apply my technical skills to build practical solutions and continue growing as an engineer.

My ideal employer would be a technology-focused company where I can work on meaningful products and solve challenging problems alongside experienced engineers. I’d prefer a mid-sized to large company with a collaborative, supportive culture that encourages learning, ownership, and continuous improvement. I’m open to a variety of industries, but I’m especially interested in companies working in healthcare, technology, or other areas where software has a real-world impact.
