1. I'm a software engineer with a year and a half of experience building backend and full-stack applications in C#/.NET, Java, and Python, most recently shipping production code at DigiKey.
2. My ideal job is one where I own features end to end, from design through testing and release, and keep growing as a backend engineer.
3. I want to work at a company in the Twin Cities where engineers ship real products, mentor new people, and care about code quality.

In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
I am looking for a software engineering role where I write and ship code every day and own features from design through release. I work best on backend and full-stack work: REST APIs, databases, and the CI/CD pipelines that deploy them. I want to be on a team that reviews each other's code and lets me take on more ownership as I prove myself.
How would you describe your professional background?
I graduated from North Dakota State University in May 2026 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Artificial Intelligence. I started out doing data work, cleaning and automating CRM records at Ziegler CAT, then moved into software at AdPipe, where I rebuilt a Python detection pipeline and presented a build-versus-buy recommendation to the CEO and board. Most recently I interned at DigiKey, where I shipped C#/.NET code to production across six enterprise repositories, wrote tests for untested code, and maintained the Azure DevOps pipelines. I also built a router configuration tool for a client as my senior capstone, and it was adopted for commercial use.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
I want a company where engineers ship real products and new people get mentorship instead of being left to figure it out. Size matters less to me than the team. I would rather join a group that cares about code quality and testing than one that just moves fast. I am in the Twin Cities and looking for something local or hybrid here.
