In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
My ideal role would be an entry-level role where I would be contributing what I have learned through college and in my personal studies, but also learning from more experienced professionals. It would help me to reinforce my fundamentals and push me to continue to learn new things every day.
How would you describe your professional background?
I'm a recent graduate from college with a degree in computer science. Before college, I had never dealt with computer science topics before. But during college, my passion for all of the topics I was learning get growing and growing. I focused a lot on software development during school, but recently, I have been thinking that I don't want to make software development my career.
So I started researching and exploring different paths that I could take. I ended up looking into computer networking extensively. This led me to finding out about the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification. Now I am on my path towards the CCNA and am learning more about networking each and every day.
I hope that in time this becomes the career that I go into and that I can use these networking skills in a more professional setting.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
My ideal employer would be a company where part of it's mission statement is about helping people. They would also work to train me well and maybe even cross train me in other roles. I would want them to invest in me while I work to better and grow the company.
