In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
My ideal position would be one focused on content or marketing operations, where I can use my experience to keep projects organized, improve workflows and make sure work actually gets across the finish line. I’d like to work as part of an internal marketing team, collaborating with writers, designers and other stakeholders while managing timelines, deliverables, publishing and quality control. After spending most of my career in strategy, I’m especially interested in a role where I can bring that experience to the execution and operational side of marketing.
How would you describe your professional background?
I started my career as a content writer, which naturally led me to learn the ins and outs of SEO and eventually become a content strategist. In my last role, I wore many hats, including taking on content operations responsibilities. I helped reduce our content production timeline from six months to one month, sourced and managed content writers and SEO vendors, and helped improve the processes that kept projects moving. Through that experience, I realized that the operational side of content is where I want to take the next step in my career.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
I’d like to work for a company where quality matters and people genuinely work as a team toward the same goals. I’m less concerned with a specific company size or industry and much more interested in being part of a collaborative environment where people take pride in their work and are invested in doing things well. Most importantly, I’m looking for somewhere I can stay long term, continue to grow and make a meaningful contribution to the team.
