I'm a junior developer with a background in web, game dev, and visual design, and I like thinking about how pieces of systems fit together.
I'm looking for a role with varied work, clear expectations, and coworkers who love explaining the things they're into.
My ideal company has a kind and respectful culture and is remote or has an easy commute.

In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
I'm ideally looking for junior developer roles. I'm early in my career, open to most kinds of work, and willing to take on things I haven't done before, especially if there's enough variety to keep me thinking.
I'd love to work with people who are curious, like minded, and happy to share what they know, so that learning becomes second nature. And of course, clear expectations and timelines help us all pace ourselves.
How would you describe your professional background?
I'm the type who likes the big picture. How features fit together, how they affect each other, and how it all works for the person using it interest me greatly.
It started with playtesting for local indie game creators, where I gave them feedback on usability and accessibility.
Since then I've run a small business, managed a nonprofit's website, and earned an A.S. in Computer Science (4.0 in programming courses) along with certificates in web development, AR/VR, and generative AI.
I now co-lead a small team building a multiplayer game in our spare time. I'm the primary system builder and also handle parts of the 3D art pipeline.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
I'd like to work remotely or somewhere I can bike to, with a comfortable, functional workspace. I love biking, so a bike-friendly workplace is a real plus. Company size doesn't matter much to me, but I'd want a culture where people are kind and treat each other with respect. I'm also open on industry, as long as the work isn't making people's lives worse.
Anything else to add?
Where do programmers go for a drink?
The Foo Bar!
Jokes aside, I'm currently getting a Swift app for iOS ready for the App Store using AI-assisted development. Outside of code, I have experience in animation, video editing, illustration, and some 3D design, which helps me communicate with designers in their terms and think about how things look and feel. I've also been going to local tech events for years and enjoy being part of that community.
