I'm a product-minded .NET/C# engineer with 6+ years building backend systems, including high-reliability fintech platforms and custom software for small businesses. I'm looking for a backend or full-stack role where I can own features end to end, work closely with product and business partners, and grow toward technical leadership. My ideal company is a collaborative, low-ego team in fintech, commerce, or B2B SaaS that ships often and builds software people genuinely depend on.

In their words
How would you describe your ideal next role?
A mid-to-senior backend or full-stack software engineering role building and scaling .NET/C# services and APIs. I'd like to own features end to end, from working with product and business stakeholders through design, implementation, and production support, on a small cross-functional team. Over time I'd like to grow into technical leadership by mentoring engineers and shaping architecture decisions.
How would you describe your professional background?
I started as a .NET/C# developer and have spent more than six years building backend systems. Most recently I worked as a software engineer at a digital banking platform, where reliability and correctness really mattered. Along the way I found I enjoy the business side as much as the code, so I began consulting for small businesses, designing and shipping custom operations platforms, point-of-sale and bookkeeping tools, and e-commerce integrations. That experience taught me to turn messy real-world problems into practical, maintainable software, and I'm now looking to bring that product mindset to a strong engineering team.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
A growing product company or established tech team, roughly 50 to 1,000 people, based in the Twin Cities or remote-friendly. I'm especially interested in fintech, commerce, and B2B SaaS. I value a collaborative, low-ego culture that ships often, gives engineers real ownership and contact with customers, and invests in mentorship. Teams building software that people genuinely depend on are a big plus.
