My ideal role would be in an organization with like-minded folks who genuinely care about ethics and improving the lives of everyday people. My responsibilities would be focused on building tools and applications that feed that mission, whether it be user experience design and development, design systems, accessibility work, developer tooling, or some combination thereof.

I am a front-end developer with a passion for user experience, usability, accessibility, and ethical technology. I believe that how we build something is just as important as what we build, and that we have a duty to ensure that we minimize or eliminate any harm we could potentially cause.
How would you describe your ideal next employer?
My ideal employer is a group or organization that cares about meaningful impact and doing things well rather than doing them fast. This organization would be focused on improving everyday lives, whether it be through civic, societal, scientific, or other means. They would be building technology for the greater good (or at least for the greater populace with an ethics-focused mindset).
